These are considered the seven major, and most important, chakras:
When depicted visually, these chakras are seen in a vertical line down our bodies, and awakening and clearing all seven chakras is thought to bring about a state of higher consciousness and physical wellbeing.
You don't need to possess any clairvoyant or psychic skills to work effectively with the chakras, all you need is knowledge and a desire to know more about your chakra system as well as an openness to tap into your intuition and connect with your inner self.
Any Physical exercise is very effective in removing blockages and promoting balance not only in your physical body but also our energy, mental and emotional bodies.
When a chakra is thought to be blocked, this problem could manifest itself in the form of physical ailments.
There is a very strong connection between spiritual and physical health for those who believe in chakras, there is the belief that blocked chakras are thought to be the result of emotional upheaval or trauma. Specific causes can include: subconscious memories of traumatic events such as abuse; a belief system that restricts your emotional availability; a lack of attention being paid to a specific chakra; or any number of emotional wounds.
Maybe you have heard the word Aura a few times and we intuitively understand that Aura is the colour or light surrounding someone; for example someone experiencing grief; we could sense his/her aura blue or low ( as in low vibration).
Aura and Chakras are not the same but they are also not that different.
Often, we forget that we are multidimensional beings. We live and love in our physical body but also our emotional body, mental body, and spiritual body. We are complex and we are simple at the same time, if we pay attention.
Somatic awareness (soma= body) meaning awareness of the body is very important when going through difficult times. Most of us don't know how to fully understand what we are feeling.
Here are some useful questions we can ask our selves so we can begin to develop an awareness of our body.
Ask your self:
1. What happened? - pay attention to any body sensation as you ask your self this question
2. What feelings are arising in me?- notice without going to the story
3. What do I need that I am not receiving? -this could take time but the answer will come. trust the process!
4. What am I really asking of my self and others? - be honest
5. Give your self what you need. - this could be rest, forgiveness, time, etc.
Find a quite space in your home, give your self some time to practice this and set the intention of gentle compassionate inner exploration.
Give me a call if you want to explore this a little deeper, I will be happy to assist you.
